The McGah Family Vineyard on the east side of the Rutherford AVA pampers vines with well-draining gravelly loam soils, plenty of daytime heat, and reliably cool nights to retain fresh acidity at optimal sugar levels. The 2018 McGah Sauvignon Blanc is a powerful, sensuous wine with exotic charisma. Tropical white flowers, guava, and coconut aromas dance in the glass with magnetic intensity. In the mouth, this wine is a Carnival of luxurious textures  - creamy and curvaceous, yet toned and fresh thanks to the fine, structured acidity. Complex layers of ripe pineapple, mandarin and lychee glide into a mouthwatering finish with crushed rock minerality and refreshing lift.
