2021 Julien Fayard Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Julien’s Reserve Cabernet is crafted from multiple hillside vineyards spanning Napa Valley from north to south. Rich and aromatic, this wine offers marvelous depth and intensity that will continue to evolve with time in the cellar. The nose opens with fragrant notes of blackberry pie, sweet fennel, cedar, and graphite, grounded by cool earthy aromas. In the mouth, the core of dark plum and black cherry opens into notes of pomegranate molasses, aniseed, and soft green peppercorns. Fine-grained, mineral-scented tannins provide elegant structure, and notes of golden caramel and kola nut glide into a long finish of dried cherries, baking spice, and mint tea.
