Julien Fayard Wines’ second release from the legendary Ritchie Vineyard is another show-stopping Chardonnay with exquisite poise and magnetic intensity. The nose opens with intriguing aromas of golden stone fruit, petrichor, lanolin, and a touch of hay. In the mouth, the wine reveals a lush core of poached pear and quince, with a beautiful apricot-scented acidity and lithe, smooth density. Notes of clove, white nectarine, peach and Pink Lady apples swirl and linger through the long, mouthwatering finish of apricot pastry, baking spice and fragrant beeswax.
